
Juliusz Goniarski was born in Warsaw into a musical family, and he began learning to play the piano at the age of seven. He graduated from the piano class of Prof. Jerzy Sterczyński at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and continued his studies at the Universität der Künste in Essen under Prof. Henri Sigfridsson.
He has won national and international competitions, including events in Italy, Sweden, and Germany.
He has also been awarded scholarships from the DAAD program and the Julian Cochran Foundation.
During numerous courses and masterclasses, he has developed his skills under the guidance of renowned pianists in Poland and abroad, including Prof. A. Jasiński, Prof. P. Gililov, Prof. A. Malikova, Prof. E. Kupiec, Prof. I. Scheps, and Prof. P. Paleczny.
In 2021, he was the only Polish pianist qualified for the prestigious Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Weimar, Germany.
In 2023, he participated as one of four Polish pianists in the pilot program “Digi Orchestra,” organized by the Accademia di Musica in Pinerolo, Italy.
In August 2023, he took part in the world premiere of 11.000 Saiten by G. F. Haas, performed in the legendary city of Bolzano, Italy.
He is a member of STOART and the Association of Polish Chamber Musicians.
He founded and served as the first chairman of the Student Pianists’ Circle at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
In addition, he co-created the student concert series Piano Mosaics and Cieszyn Meetings from Music.
