Saulė Pavilionytė

Saule Pavilionyte was born in Lithuania and began playing the flute at the age of five. At the age of six, she entered the National School of  M.K. Ciurlionis (Lithuania), studying flute technique and methods until age 18, with 8 different flute teachers in total. During her studies, she performs solo concerts in major venues across the country, including the Lithuanian National Philharmonic. Simultaneously, at the age of 15, she began the preparation course at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, receiving classes from the most outstanding teacher and flutist in her country – Prof. Valentinas Gelgotas. After receiving her professional degree in Lithuania, she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid (Spain) in the class of  Prof. Vicente Martínez López. During her studies there, she received honorable mentions in her specialty, and also won the scholarship to go on Erasmus to the Music Conservatory of G. Tartini (Italy), where she studied with Prof. Luisa Sello. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she became one of the youngest flute teachers of Spain at “SJE Conservatory of music” (Madrid). Later, she finished her Master’s degree in the class of  Prof. Giorgio Di Giorgi at the Music Conservatory of J. Tomadini (Italy) with the highest score and an honorable mention. Currently, she is studying with a scholarship at the International Music Academy of Imola with multiple world-famous flutists.

Saule Pavilionyte has received individual classes and master classes from famous flutists like Vicens Prats, William Bennet, Jacques Zoon, Stefano Parrino, Guoliang Han, Viviana Guzmán, Elisabet Franch, Andrea Oliva, Marco Zoni, Matej Zupan, Nicola Mazzanti, Walter Auer…

She has participated in different festivals and competitions (Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain, Italy, France, USA, Bulgaria), winning several awards and diplomas.

During her career, she has exhibited in several important concert halls like the National Auditorium of Spain, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society, the Ateneo of Madrid, the Apollo Theater of Greece, the New Giovanni Theater of Udine, etc..
